Through financial support from foundations, corporations, organizations and individuals, AFAR Florida helps to fill the gap left by limited research dollars by:

• Providing promising young researchers with their first grants
• Encouraging young medical professionals to specialize in geriatrics
• Supporting the work of mid-career scientists

As scientists at Florida’s research institutions compete for increasingly scarce research dollars, the need for funds to support biomedical research efforts on aging in Florida is more important than ever.  Your contribution helps to address this critical need.

AFAR Florida Grants

100% of your donation is used to support an AFAR Florida Research Grant or an MSTAR scholarship, so whatever amount you contribute goes directly to benefit a young scientist.  If you would like to learn how to name an AFAR Florida Research Grant, or an AFAR Florida MSTAR Scholarship, please contact us.
